Employment Opportunity – Business Development Representative
Location:  43 Western Blvd  Glastonbury, CT  06033
Type:  Full Time
Reports to:  VP, Sales

Kelser provides IT solutions that enable the success of our clients. We are looking for an individual who is driven to find and cultivate relationships with new clients where we can create solutions and prosper together. The right individual would establish relationships that position Kelser as an indispensable advisor in the eyes of each client.

The selected candidate will sell Kelser’s product and service solutions to mid-market and commercial prospects. The Business Development Representative (BDR) may acquire existing customers with significant growth opportunity to cultivate. The successful BDR generates revenue by interacting with customers and prospects through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, face to face meetings, and ultimately closing sales. The BDR is expected to always represent the company, brand, and offerings in a positive manner.

  • Promote Kelser services, products, and partnerships
  • Find, develop, and maintain customer relationships
  • Meet and exceed quarterly target goals
  • Track and manage contacts and opportunities within CRM
  • Leverage vendors and partners to develop business
  • Present at customer meetings, seminars, trainings, and webinars as required
  • Attend trainings and complete certification programs as required
  • Other reasonable duties assigned by sales management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience selling to mid-market commercial accounts
  • Proven hunter and closer
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Become proficient in Kelser products and services (some certifications required, training provided)
  • Effective communication and documentation abilities
